Hello! I’m Demetria Gilkey — preacher, author, inspirational speaker, and a life and purpose coach. I help women rediscover their dreams, embrace their God-given purpose, and step boldly into new seasons of life.
I’m based in Louisville, Kentucky, where I live with my husband, Aaron — my college sweetheart from Western Kentucky University — and our lively daughter, Bellamy. Together, we’re three peas in a pod!
My journey has been full of twists, turns, and divine surprises. I faced rejection many times — from teaching positions I longed for, law school, news anchor roles, and yet God’s timing was perfect. Over and over, I saw dreams I thought were lost return in unexpected ways — including emceeing a major award show, signing with an acting agent, and writing two books.
These experiences taught me that dreams don’t die — they evolve, and God’s timing is perfect. Even the detours, like cosmetology school, prepared me with patience, resilience, and perspective.
My Calling: Helping Women Dream Again
